Rockhampton Golf Club in the heart of the city has been listed in Australia's top 100 golf courses and annually hosts a $25,000 Pro Am competition.
Hone your game on the two award winning courses at Rydges Capricorn Resort which take you on a beautiful scenic tour through spectacular wetlands and native busland of melaleuca and eucalypt trees. The prestigious Pro Am event hosted annually on these courses in August has received the PGA 'Players Choice Tournament of the Year' award for seven years.
At nearby Zilzie Bay, the Reef Palms Golf and Leisure Complex is nearing completion, boasting a world-first synthetic 18 hole golf course and a spectacular view of the Keppel Islands from the top deck of the centre.

Rydges Capricorn Resort
offers two award-winning courses cater to both the low and high handicapper with challenging water carry to open fairways for the less adventurous. Built on a pure sand belt, this 36 hole, par 72 course allows the golfer to experience very beautiful and challenging courses. The Resort Course is a classic Thomson-Wolveridge course. In superb condition, this exacting but forgiving course, has wide fairways and there is no over abundance of water. With 39 sand bunkers, the course cuts through Australian Melaleuca bushland using the natural undulations of the area to best utilise natural contours to course dynamics.

Rockhampton Golf Club
The Rockhampton Golf Club course is one of Central Queensland’s premier golfing experiences. The 18 hole, par 72 course is located by the Murray Lagoon and Botanic Gardens and previously listed in Australia’s top 100 golf courses. The club has full catering, bar and pro shop, and cart hire facilities, including a fairway, chipping area and practice putting green.
Reef Palms Leisure and Entertainment Centre
For a new challenge, the Reef Palms Leisure and Entertainment Centre is now open. Set on a breathtaking site at Zilzie on the Capricorn Coast, the 18 hole course, set on a breathtaking 447ha site and designed by Wayne Grady, offers spectacular views and situated amongst sand dunes and magnificent man made lakes.
Yeppoon Golf Club
A delightful and challenging undulating 18hole course situated on the Capricorn Coast. The course a par 71 is home to hundreds of golfer friendly kangaroos and offers stunning views of the Golf Course. A fully stocked Pro Shop and a friendly welcome awaits all visitors.
Emu Park Golf Club
is renown as the friendliest club on the Capricorn Coast. currently a 14 hole course, the plans are to extend to a full 18 holes.
