Capricorn Caves
Capricorn Caves located just north of Rockhampton offers a natural beauty different to deep underground caves. Everyone can experience a “real” cave adventure from an easy walking guided tour to adrenalin charged wild caving explorations. Stay overnight in our cabins on the 30 hectare park and meet the “locals” - the native fauna and enjoy the tranquility of the bush around a camp fire.

Capricorn Caves are the premier nature based attraction in Central Queensland.
Here you can explore spectacular caves in a limestone ridge and spot little insectivorous bats in certain seasons. These magnificent caves are located north of Rockhampton and winner of many major tourism and environment awards and eco-tourism accreditation.
Directions: From Rockhampton follow the Bruce Highway 23klms and turn right into the township of The Caves.
From Mackay travel south along the Bruce Highway for approximately 300klms and turn left into the township of The Caves.
Cross a railway line into The Caves township. Follow the road past the Caves Country pub and immediately turn Right at The Caves School. Follow the road for 3klms and turn right into Olsen’s Caves road.
